ABERDEEN – A 26-year-old woman died in an early-morning car accident Friday.
Monore County Coroner Alan Gurley said Cornisha Boykins King of Aberdeen died as the result of multiple trauma in a three-car accident on Highway 25 North near Dan Taylor Road.
“Mrs. King was driving north on Highway 25 in a 2004 Nissan Altima on her way to work at Walmart in Amory,” Gurley said. “She was involved in a three-vehicle accident. She was alone in her vehicle.”
Gurley said King was removed from the vehicle with the jaws of life and was transported to Pioneer Community Hospital in Aberdeen where she was pronounced dead.
The accident is under investigation by the Mississippi Highway Patrol.
