Oxford attorney Michael R. Wall was arrested on felony drug charges around noon Friday, ending a month-long investigation by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit.
MBN Director Marshall Fisher said agents arrested the 52-year-old drug suspect at Lafayette County Justice Court on warrants for possession of cocaine and delivery or transfer of cocaine.
Wall is charged with two counts of delivery or transfer of cocaine and two counts of possession of cocaine.
The alleged offenses involved a total of approximately five grams of cocaine. A gram of cocaine has an estimated street value of $100, Director Fisher said.
Wall was booked into the Lafayette County Jail.
Bond has been set at $20,000.
