The Oxford School District has named three finalists for its vacant superintendent job.
Finalists are Brian Harvey, Andy Parker and Jeff Wooten, school board president Buddy Chain said Monday.
Harvey has been serving as the district’s interim superintendent since May, when superintendent Kim Stasny died of a brain tumor. Wooten is the superintendent in Muscle Shoals, Ala., and Parker is principal of Bay High School in Bay St. Louis.
The board will interview candidates later this week, Chain said. It hopes to name its next superintendent in early March.
Wooten is also a finalists for the Tupelo Schools superintendent job.
