Oxford, Okolona and Pontotoc Christmas Parades postponed

Oxford Police Chief Mike Martin reports that the Oxford Lions Club Christmas Parade originally scheduled for tonight has been postponed due to weather. The parade will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday night.


Due to inclement weather, the annual Okolona Christmas parade has been postponed. The parade was set for tonight, but the rain has changed the plan.
The parade is rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.

The Pontotoc Christmas Parade has officially been postponed due to weather. The parade will start at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 12.


AMORY – The Amory Christmas Parade has been canceled, according to Kelly A. Martin, director of Chamber Affairs, Amory, for the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce.

“Due to numerous conflicts the parade will not be rescheduled. Please contact our office if you have any questions.”
