Oxford Police investigating armed robbery

On Friday night at approximately 11:20 p.m. Oxford Police Department responded to Shell service station on 278 west.

Upon arrival officers discovered that the attendant had been robbed at gun point, where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken. The suspect is described as being a black male approximately 5’9″ to 6′ tall with medium length dreads, 16-20 years of age and approximately 160 lbs. Suspect was wearing blue jeans and a gray hoodie sweat shirt.
