Oxford police make shoplifting, embezzlement arrests

On Monday, Oxford police arrested three suspects on charges of felony shoplifting after Walmart Loss Prevention personnel signed affidavits.

Joseph Mason, 18, of Jackson, was charged with two counts; Allison Paige Kelley, 18, of Byhalia, and Dylan Austin, 20, of Pope were each charged with one count. Mason’s bond was set at $5,000. Bond for Kelley and Austin was set at $1,500.

On Tuesday, Oxford police charged Laquandara Dye, 19, of Oxford, with felony embezzlement after the owner of Larson’s Cash Saver signed an affidavit against her. Bond was set at $1,500.
