COLUMBUS, Miss. (AP) — The Air Force says no one was hurt when one of its training jets landed Monday without landing gear.

An instructor pilot and student pilot were on board the T-6 Texan ll during the landing at Columbus Air Force Base.

A news release says it happened after a touch-and-go landing and after the jet’s landing gear was retracted.

The Air Force says a safety investigation board will be convened to investigate the accident.

The pilot and instructor were not identified.
