TUPELO – Real estate agent Cheryl Pine was indicted again by a Lee County grand jury, but her Jackson attorney said today he didn’t know anything about it.
Pine is accused of plotting to kill her husband, James. She pleaded not guilty to her first indictment last fall and is free on a $500,000 appearance bond.
She was scheduled to go on trial Aug. 17, but the new indictment will call for a new schedule, including re-arraignment.
“This is the first we have heard she was re-indicted,” said her attorney, James Craig, of Jackson today.
