PINEDALE – The Pinedale volunteer fire department has received a new fire truck.
According to the New Albany Gazette, the Board of Supervisors acquired the new pumper last week. It has a 1,250 gallon-per-minute pump, a 1,000-gallon booster tank and a foam system.
Union County Fire Coordinator Steve Coker said with the new truck, there is a good chance residents serviced by Pinedale’s department could receive a break on their insurance with a lower ISO rating.
