Planned traffic change in Corinth postponed

By NEMS Daily Journal

CORINTH – Implementation has been postponed for a planned four-way stop at the intersection of South Parkway Street and Droke Road.
The stop was scheduled to take effect Monday.
After discussing complaints several city officials had received about the plan, Corinth board members agreed to postpone any change to obtain further input from the city engineer and others.
South Parkway Street has for many years been a north-south thoroughfare with continuous traffic, while Droke Road traffic has a stop sign. That traffic pattern will continue for the foreseeable future.
