PLANTERSVILLE – Plantersville Police Department is offering an amnesty program to those who have active warrants.
Plantersville Municipal Judge John Sheffield has shown leniency to those who have turned themselves in, according to a news release from the department.
Those who surrender are not charged with contempt of court and are allowed to pay their fines to avoid jail. If they cannot pay their fines, the judge has worked out payment plans or allowed them to work off the fines through the Plantersville Work Program.
Those with active warrants in Plantersville can contact the court clerk at (662) 844-2012.
