ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) — Federal court records indicate that a man will plead guilty to federal charges that he assaulted a Cleveland police officer and possessed drugs.

Tavoris Griffin faces three federal charges related to his arrest on Oct. 27. Court records say he was resisting arrest when he assaulted Cleveland officer Darius Jenkins, who was working with U.S. Marshals. Griffin also is charged with possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine and marijuana.

Griffin has pleaded not guilty. A plea change hearing is set for Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Aberdeen.
