TUPELO – Three Shannon men facing armed robbery charges were arraigned on $100,000 bond each on Thursday.

Martavious Bogan, 18, Christian Hendricks, 32, and Brenzo Gillard, 21, all of Shannon, were arrested Wednesday and charged with armed robbery.

On Tuesday, a Tupelo man reported a vehicle stopped in front of his Ruth Street residence around 12:20 p.m. and the passengers asked for directions. As he was talking to them, he reported one exited the vehicle, showed a weapon and demanded money.

Tupelo Police Capt. Rusty Haynes said he gave them his money and they left.

The suspects were found in Chickasaw County in a vehicle matching the description given to police within a few hours of the incident.

The Chickasaw County Sheriff’s Office assisted with the investigation.

Neighborhood Association drove out some good folks. You get unknowns in place of them. Thugs love transient neighborhoods.
