Police find car associated with burglary suspects

Tupelo Police Lt. Jerry Davis said the black Toyota Yaris associated with a jewelry store robbery was located Wednesday.

TUPELO – Police are looking for the suspects who broke into jewelry cases at Little’s Jewelry in the Barnes Crossing Mall on Monday night.

Tupelo Police Lt. Jerry Davis said the car associated with the suspects is a black Toyota Yaris with Michigan license plates.

The three suspects entered the jewelry store just before closing Monday night, broke the black jewelry cases with hammers and then fled with jewelry and watches.

    it was probably a hertz corporate fleet car. I don’t get how cops don’t know how to identify rental cars. one would think by now they would figure things out. goes to show how smart tupelo cops are with many having worked at the tupelo airport.
