PONTOTOC – Three teens are facing felony drug charges following a Tuesday traffic stop in Pontotoc County.
“The officer noticed they didn’t have a tag and when he pulled them over to check them, the driver had no driver’s license and he (officer) could smell stuff in the vehicle,” said Sheriff Leo Mask. “We searched the vehicle and found crack cocaine.
“Some was in the car and some was on their bodies.”
McArthur Johnson, 19, Damien Lyons, 19, and Kelly Roberson, 17, all of Pontotoc, are charged with possession of crack with intent to distribute and other misdemeanor charges. Bonds were set at $10,000.
Officers seized about eight grams of crack, Mask said.
