Pontotoc Lady Warriors eyeing perfection

The only way Pontotoc’s Lady Warriors (32-0) can remain unbeaten is to win the Class 4A state championship this week in Jackson.
Pontotoc tips off the second week of state high school basketball tournament play at 1 p.m. today against Bay St. Louis in the Mississippi Coliseum. The winner plays Forrest County AHS or Lafayette for the state title Friday.
Lafayette plays FCAHS at 6:30 p.m. today in the other 4A girls semifinal.
In today’s other game involving an NEMiss team, Corinth’s boys play Bay St. Louis in the 4A semifinals. The winner plays Amanda Elzy or Laurel at 8:30 p.m. Friday for the state championship.
