Two burglary arrests last month have led to more charges in Prentiss County.

Greg and Gwen Robinson were charged with allegedly burglarizing Silom Methodist Church on County Road 4101 in Prentiss County. They remain in jail.

The arrest of these two individuals led to solving serveral other church and motor vehicle burglaries in Prentiss and Tishomingo Counties, according to Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar.

Further investigation has led to the Robinsons facing additional charges of burglary of an automobile stemming from the burglary of a church can and theft of other items at Chandler’s Chapel Baptist Church East of Booneville on County Road 3371. According to authorities several items taken in this incident have been recovered from the Robinson’s residence.

“I am very pleased with the work of our investigators and deputies in capturing the duo and working the case,” Tolar said. ” I also credit the public involved and helping to make it happen.”
