CORINTH – An investigation continues into an early Saturday morning shooting in Corinth, said Police Chief David Lancaster.
The victim of the shooting, which was reported about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at 916 Ross St., Corinth, is a juvenile, so his name is not being released, the chief said.
He was hospitalized at Magnolia Regional Health Center with a wound to the stomach, which was not life-threatening, but no information was available late Monday as to whether he remained in the hospital.
Statements from the victim to police have been contradictory, the chief said, and he has been uncooperative in the investigation.
