Public invited to night of fund-raising, fun
PONTOTOC – A night of entertainment, dinner and donations benefiting the Pontotoc County Chamber of Commerce is set for 7 p.m. June 1 at the National Guard Armory in Pontotoc.
Community and business leaders are giving their time, creativity and humor to a night of charity. Celebrity waiters will compete against each other with crazy antics to raise the most money in tips and donations from guests at their tables. The waiter who earns the most tips will win a cruise to the Bahamas.
Some celebrity waiters already signed up for the fund-raising event are: state Rep. Ted Foster, real estate agent Jack Savely, insurance agent Howard Hill, bank executive Buddy Montgomery, and newspaper publisher Rubye Del Hardin.
