Public ‘Lewis and Clark’ meeting set for Thursday

PONTOTOC – The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail soon could expand into Mississippi, and stakeholders seek public input at a meeting Thursday.
The Pontotoc County Chamber of Commerce, National Park Service and the Lewis and Clark Trust will meet at 9 a.m. at the Chamber of Commerce building, 109 W. Main Street, Pontotoc.
Everyone is invited to share ideas about possible sites and trail study corridors, as well as provide verification on sections of historic and contemporary trail corridors mapped to date.
