PONTOTOC – After almost two years as Pontotoc City School superintendent, Dr. Adam Pugh has resigned to become the superintendent of Lafayette County schools.
He will continue in his position through June 30 to finish the school year.
“Lafayette County is where my kids call home and it’s an opportunity for them to get back home near their friends,” Pugh said. “Pontotoc is a great place to live and work. I am grateful to have been a part of this wonderful school district with its outstanding achievement in excellence.”
Before taking the Pontotoc job, Pugh was principal of Lafayette County High School.
