JACKSON – Authorities have charged a Mississippi man with fraud after allegedly finding more than 1,300 credit cards and gift cards in his home along with equipment that could be used to alter them.
U.S. Postal Inspector Dwayne Martin said in a court affidavit that authorities raided the home of Walter “Ricky” Bell in West on Friday.
Martin said authorities found credit card numbers, Social Security numbers and other information as well as an embossing machine used to alter or make credit and gift cards.
A public defender didn’t immediately respond to a message. A hearing was set for Tuesday.
