Rascal Flatts' tech crew works on stage at arena

TUPELO – Rascal Flatts’ stage crew is wrapping up its third visit to the BancorpSouth Arena in as many years.
Todd Hunt, the arena’s executive director, said a crew has been working on technical aspects of the country band’s stage show in preparation for an upcoming tour.
“They’ve been here three years, and we hope to have them back next summer or spring,” Hunt said during a Tupelo Coliseum Commission meeting on Monday.
The economy may be affecting the band, since two years ago the show required 15 trucks, and this year’s version uses 12.
