BOONEVILLE – Remains recovered from a burned vehicle several months ago have been identified as a Prentiss County woman who was reported missing from Corinth in March.
Officials with the Prentiss County Sheriff’s Office confirmed on Tuesday that the remains were Tammy McVey Wright, 46, according to the Daily Corinthian.
Wright was reported missing after visiting a patient at Magnolia Regional Health Center on March 25.
The burned vehicle was found about 900 feet off Alcorn County Road 335 by people riding a four-wheeler near the washed out road.
