Bus drivers in four Mississippi school districts, including West Point, will report to work Wednesday, after a planned strike is put on hold, clarionledger.com reports.
West Point School Superintendent Steve Montgomery told WTVA this morning the school bus strike is now over. The union says school buses are now rolling.
Madison County, Hinds County, Yazoo County and West Point public school districts were notified on Tuesday that contract negotiations between Ohio-based bus company First Student and the union that represents drivers had come to a standstill and a work strike was eminent.
