West Point Police are still searching for several suspects accused of shooting two people and injuring three others at a graduation party, according to wcbi.com.
Chief Steve Bingham says a fight broke out inside of the American Legion Hall, on East Westbrook Street, and quickly spread outside.
Shots were fired into the crowd striking two people. One person received a flesh wound from a bullet and two others were injured flying debris.
Bingham says the suspects, who he believes are from Lowndes County, arrived about 30 minutes before the Friday night incident.
No arrests have been made.
The names of the victims and suspects are not being released. The injuries aren’t life-threatening.
