A Houston man is dead after a one car accident in Clay County Saturday morning, WCBI.com reports.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol tells WCBI.com the accident took place shortly before 3:30 a.m. on Highway 47 just south of the Clay/Chickasaw county line in the McCondy community.
Kenneth Juckes, 53, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Clay County Coroner Alvin Carter.
Juckes lost control of his car causing it to go off the roadway, flipping several times and was ejected from the vehicle.
MHP is investigating the crash.
Carter also reported Benjamin Lane, 20, died after a two car accident.
The accident took place on Highway 50 west Saturday afternoon around 2:40 p.m.
West Point police are investigating the accident.
