CORINTH – A reward for information leading to an arrest in the recent murder of Corinth taxi driver Cleo Henderson has grown to $3,200.

Local business owners and individuals have donated money for the reward, which would be in addition to a $1,000 reward offered by Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi if information is reported through Crime Stoppers.

Henderson, 66, died of a gunshot wound early the morning of May 25. His body was found outside the downtown office of Liberty Cab by a coworker, who had last spoken with him about 1 a.m.

Police are hoping someone has information that could advance the investigation, said Chief David Lancaster. Meanwhile, they are awaiting results of tests from the state crime lab.

To report information call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at (800) 773-8277, where your identity will be kept confidential, or the Corinth Police Department at (662) 286-3377.
