Robinson qualifies to run for chancellor

OXFORD – Attorney Helen Kennedy Robinson has qualified to seek the District 18 chancery judge’s seat held by Edwin H. Roberts Jr.
Robinson holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a law degree from the University of Mississippi.
In practice in Oxford, she began as a solo practitioner in 1991 in Holly Springs, where she grew up.
District 18 comprises Benton, Calhoun, Lafayette, Marshall and Tippah counties. Two judges will be selected districtwide.
Qualifying deadline is May 7 for the non-party election Nov. 2.
