OXFORD – Stuart Stevens, the Mississippi native who was Mitt Romney’s chief adviser during the 2012 presidential campaign, will make a rare public post-election appearance to discuss the dynamics and pitfalls of American politics at the Overby Center for Southern Journalism and Politics on the Ole Miss campus Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Stevens is expected to talk about Romney’s unsuccessful effort, Stevens’ work with the winning George W. Bush campaigns of 2000 and 2004, the future of the Republican Party, and other issues during the hour-long program.
The event is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
