SALTILLO – Firefighters from three Lee County volunteer departments responded to a fire at a Saltillo trailer manufacturing plant Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported about 10:15 a.m. at Roadrunner Trailer Manufacturing on state Highway 145 in Saltillo.
Firefighters from Saltillo, Guntown and Cedar Hill were able to contain the fire to a paint booth where the fire originated, a Saltillo firefighter said.
Smoke was seen coming from the building before firefighters arrived. By the time firefighters were on the scene, Roadrunner employees had removed many of the flammable liquids like paint thinner and other combustible items.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in less than five minutes.
Roadrunner manufactures trailers such as utility trailers.
A cause for the fire had not been determined Wednesday.
