Saltillo police looking for robbers

Crime StockSALTILLO – Police are still searching for three men who robbed the Save-A-Lot grocery store on City Market Drive in Saltillo.

Police Chief Grant Bailey said two black males, one appeared to be in his 30s in a black shirt with blue jeans and an afro haircut and the second in his 20s with a white muscle shirt a blue jeans, entered the store between 11:30 and noon.

One man went to the register to pay for a bag of chips and intentionally dropped his change in front of the register. When the clerk bent down to pick up the change, the other man took approximately $300 from the cash register and fled.

A third suspect was waiting outside in a black car.
