Sarah Palin coming to Tupelo

TUPELO – Former Alaska governor and one-time vice presidential running mate Sarah Palin will visit Tupelo this fall as part of a Christian women’s event.
The rising Republican star will talk about her faith during the two-day Extraordinary Women Conference at the BancorpSouth Arena, according to a statement by the organization released Friday.
A national ministry for females, Extraordinary Women holds numerous conferences nationwide that include music, lectures and fellowship. Attendees can participate in break-out sessions as well as communal prayer and learning opportunities.
It came to Tupelo last year; this year’s event is scheduled for Oct. 21-22.
