Sardis Lake needs eagle survey help

SARDIS – Volunteere are needed Jan. 12 for Sardis Lake’s 31st annual mid-winter bald eagle survey. The event’s purpose is to estimate the number of the giant predators living on and near the lake.
The survey begins at 7 a.m. with orientation for volunteers at the Sardis Lake Field Office, just below the south end of the dam.
Volunteers of all ages are welcome to join in this year’s survey. Breakfast
and a T-shirt will be provided to each participant.
