TUNICA — Tunica County authorities were resuming a search for a missing 82-year-old Tennessee man after his truck was found Wednesday near a hunting club.

Chief Deputy Randy Stewart says a red 2005 GMC Sierra pickup owned by George Nicholson of Arlington, Tenn., was found about 9 p.m. Wednesday at Hardin Point Hunting Club near the Tunica Cutoff area. Family members had reported Nicholson missing on June 29 when he reportedly was head to the casinos in Tunica.

Stewart says the search was resuming Thursday.

Nicholson’s family has offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to his safe return. They say Nicholson is in the early stages of dementia and does not have a cell phone.
