Sensitive issues off Corinth agenda

CORINTH – Two sensitive issues tabled from the May 7 agenda – appointed police chief and mayor veto power – will not be discussed at today’s mid-month meeting.
Aldermen decided to omit from today’s agenda whether Corinth’s police chief should be appointed and whether the city charter should be revised to give the mayor veto power until a later date, if at all, according to a notice from City Clerk Vickie Roach.
