OXFORD – An Alabama man faces up to 40 years in prison for guilty pleas to two Northeast Mississippi bank robberies.
Brian Perry Jones of Toney, Ala., pleaded guilty April 2 to robbing Renasant banks in Iuka and Tupelo in 2012.
Senior U.S. District Judge Neal B. Biggers will sentence him Monday in the federal courthouse in Oxford.
Last December, Jones also was indicted with two other Renasant robberies, in Tupelo and Booneville.
In exchange for his guilty pleas, those two charges will be dismissed after he’d sentenced.
