Sentencing set in Southaven bank robbery

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (AP) — A man accused of robbing a north Mississippi bank in 2010 is scheduled for sentencing in January.

Christopher Wayne Gable pleaded guilty in July to robbing the Wachovia Bank in Southaven in March 2010. He was convicted of the robbery in which he walked into the bank and handed a teller a note that demanded cash.

His sentencing is set for Jan.6 in U.S. District court in Aberdeen.
