Shooting suspect remains in custody in Corinth

CORINTH – A suspect has been arrested and charged with aggravated assault in connection with a Friday shooting on Cemetery Street.
Arrested was Terence Alexander, 25, of Waldron Street, Corinth, whose bond was set at $30,000. However, since bond was on probation at the time of the incident, he is being held for the state Department of Corrections, said Detective Capt. Ralph Dance.
The victim, Damichael Quantez Morrison, 23, of Johns Street, Corinth, was treated for gunshot wounds to the leg and is recovering, Dance said.
