Specialty food store opens in Tupelo

TUPELO – The Home Chef Market is now open in the Crye-Leike Plaza on North Gloster in Tupelo.
The owners are Lizzette Van Osten and Sandy Turner, who is a full-time Realtor with Crye-Leike.
The store, which is between Mist and Oscar’s Wine & Spirits, sells certified angus beef, pork, fish, seafood, sausage, olive oil, organic vegetables, soups, cheeses, pastas, imported beer and other “gourmet groceries.”
The butcher is John Burleson, who previously was at Tony’s and Piggly Wiggly in Saltillo.
Home Chef Market is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The phone number is (662) 269-2533. The website is HomeChefMarket.com.
