Starkville visitor bureau ramping up advertising

STARKVILLE — Starkville tourism leaders are ramping up advertising ahead of the fall season.

Jennifer Gregory, a vice president with the Greater Starkville Development Partnership,this week outlined an ad budget that more than doubles spending from the last fiscal year.

The partnership will spend $80,500 for local, regional and statewide advertising, with more than $27,000 of that for print advertising in statewide publications, according to The Dispatch of Columbus.
