State to dedicate new cabins at park

TUPELO – The Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks has finished construction on a new duplex cabin at Trace State Park.
The public is invited to a dedication and open house for the facility on Thursday at 10:30 a.m.
Each cabin features two bedrooms, two bathrooms, living area with flat-screen TV, fully equipped kitchen and screen porch. Each cabin has a scenic lake view. A total of three queen size beds with linens are included in each cabin for a total occupancy of six people.
These cabins will be available for reservations soon through www.mdwfp.com or the Reserve America web site.
Lake Lowndes State Park in Lowndes County also is opening a new cabin.
