CLINTON — Workers at the Mississippi Department of Revenue returned to work Wednesday after crews cleared the building of an odor that had made some employees sick last week.
The building near Clinton was evacuated and workers sent home Friday. It remained closed through Tuesday.
Department of Revenue spokeswoman Kathy Waterbury says the decision to reopen was made after North Little Rock, Ark.-based Center for Toxicology and Environmental Health LLC determined the building is “clear and safe for occupancy.”
