HORN LAKE — Officials say a 23-year-old substitute teacher working at Lake Cormorant High School has been charged with sexual battery in incidents that occurred off-campus.

Deputy Chief Frank Rainey of the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Department told the Commercial Appeal that Joey Johnson of Horn Lake was arrested at his home Monday after authorities received a complaint.

He said the victims, two of them, are each 16 years old.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Johnson has an attorney.
