Suspect jailed on burglary charges, probation violation in Prentiss County

BOONEVILLE – A suspect remains in Prentiss County Jail charged with a home burglary that happened in early January.
Jonathan Coolidge Hutchens, 28, of 577 Highway 364, Booneville, was arrested after attempting in Tishomingo County to cash one of the checks that was reported stolen. The original burglary happened Jan. 9 in the Altitude community of Prentiss County.
Bond was set at $10,000, but Hutchens is being held for the Mississippi Department of Corrections because he was on probation. He also may face additional burglary charges in Tishomingo County.
