OXFORD – Police are seeking a suspect related to the Wednesday morning robbery of the Kangaroo Express convenience store in Oxford.

At around 3 a.m. a black male presented a handgun and demanded money, said Police Chief Joey East. No one was injured in the robbery, but an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

Police know the suspect’s features from video inside the store, but because no outside video was available, they do not know what kind of vehicle he left in or whether more than one person was involved.

Anyone with information related to the robbery is urged to call Oxford police at (662) 232-2400.
