Sometime before midnight on September 14, 2012, a 27-year-old victim was lured to a residence in the Pratts Community by the suspects. There she was choked, beaten and had her hands and feet bound. The suspects then transported the victim to a remote location where she was dumped in a wooded area. The suspects poured an accelerant onto the victim’s body and surrounding area, set both on fire and left the scene.

The victim managed to extinguish the fire on her body and got her legs loose from the ligature. The victim walked a good distance before coming to a residence and waking the homeowner for help. The homeowner called 911 and Lee County Sheriff’s deputies and an ambulance responded to the home. The victim was transported to the hospital and later transferred to a burn center.
