‘The Chamber’ to be shot in Mississippi
The film adaptation of John Grisham’s novel “The Chamber” will be shot largely in Mississippi, the director of the state’s Department of Economic and Community Development said Saturday.
Ward Emling, manager of the Mississippi Film Office, said the production company currently is scouting locations in the Delta and in the Jackson area. Filming is set to begin in Los Angeles in February and in Mississippi in March.
“The Chamber” tells the story of a young lawyer’s efforts to save a man on death row. The movie will star Gene Hackman and Chris O’Donnell.
