This week, Crime Stoppers needs help to locate an armed robber.
Around 4 p.m. on July 31, a robber walked into the Express Shop on Jackson Street in Houston. The man pointed a sawed-off pump shotgun at the clerk and demanded all the money in the register while standing at the store’s door. The suspect fled on foot heading west toward the library with $86 in cash.
The robber is described as a 5-foot, 10-inch black man weighing between 180 and 190 pounds. He was wearing an orange toboggan and black clothing.
Anyone who knows the identity of the Houston Express Shop robber is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Northeast Mississippi at 1-800-773-TIPS. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 to the first caller with information leading to an arrest in this or any other major crime. All calls are held in strict confidence.
