Three accused of insurance fraud in Chickasaw County

CHICKASAW COUNTY — Three people have been indicted and arrested in Chickasaw County for insurance fraud.

Robert Polk, 46, of Tupelo, and Lajarrance Standfield, 23, of Okolona, were both charged with one count of fraudulent use of an insurance card.

Both men are accused of presenting a fraudulent insurance card to the Chickasaw County Justice Court Clerk stating he had insurance at the time he was cited for not having insurance.

Pamela Fewell, 50, of Bolton, also was arrested on one count of fraudulent use of an insurance card and one count of wire fraud.

All three cases are believed to be unrelated.
